What is Nematop biological insecticide ?

Nematop is a 0,5-0,9 mm long nematode preparation that kills the target pest in the soil.The Nematop is a nematode that is designed to locate the soil-borne nematode in the soil within a short time and kill it together with bacteria that live in symbiosis with the nematode. They multiply in the body of the pest (host) and seek out another host under suitable conditions. In this way they rapidly kill the target pests present. However, all this is only achieved if the soil is kept moist at the right time and soil temperature and the application is made in the evening hours away from the sun's UV rays.

How to use Nematop biological insecticide ?

Preparation and application of the spray:

To prepare the spray juice, dissolve the entire contents of the package in water at 15-20 °C. Application is recommended in the evening or in cloudy weather. When applying the spray, the entire contents of the package should be used. After treatment, water for 3 weeks and keep the soil moist. Nematodes can also be applied via a sprinkler system, a Nemasprayer mounted on a sprinkler hose, a hand-held sprayer or a watering can. It is important to remove the filters and when using a sprayer, use a 1 mm nozzle at a maximum pressure of 4 bar, otherwise nematodes may become trapped. The spray should be sprayed immediately after preparation with continuous mixing to ensure that sufficient oxygen is available for nematodes.
