Amistar Spray is identical to the fungicide Amistar approved under FVM 35042/2001.
Amistar Spray is a broad-spectrum fungicide for use in flower and ornamental crops. In addition to its fungicidal action, it also has significant plant greening properties.
Prescribed plant protection technology
Spraying is carried out as a preventive measure, but at the latest at the first symptoms, to be repeated at a later stage depending on the infection pressure.
For biological efficacy in all crops, it is important to choose the right time of spraying and to ensure good coverage of the crop with spray
Spectrum of action and dose
Culture Pathogen Dose A.V.I.
ornamental plants powdery mildew, rust, peronospora, grey mould, alternaria 1 ml agent /10 m2 not required
May be used on all flower and ornamental crops, but in particular on ornamental crops susceptible to powdery mildew, rust, peronospora, grey mould, white mould and alternaria spot and scab diseases as listed in the table below.
Annuals Balcony plants Potted plants Potted flowers
Pansy, Daffodil, Clown flower, Petunia, Stink-wort, Copper flower, Snowdrop flower, Daisy, Chrysanthemum, Carnation, Sunflower, Iron grass Muscatel-runner-hardy, Petunia-runner Cyclamen, Poinsettia, African violet, Fuchsia half-flower Rose, Lilac bush, Dahlia species, Amber-leaved cyclamen
Mixing the spray:
With a firm motion, pull out the neck of the spray bottle, remove the colored plastic ring, then screw the spray nozzle part clockwise and tightly onto the bottle. This will allow the formulation to be carried into solution (spray mixing) without direct contact with the pesticide. Then shake the bottle thoroughly and spray.
When spraying, the use of a protective mask is recommended in addition to the mandatory rubber gloves!
Prescribed spraying technology:
In ornamental plants and flowers, spraying should be carried out at the emergence of the bracts and shoots and flower parts before the appearance of symptoms. To ensure adequate coverage of the spray, pump the spray from the well-shaken bottle two to three times onto the inner parts of the plants and also onto the outer surface of the plants. Repeat spraying after 10-14 days at the earliest, depending on the expected development of the infestation.
Aim to use the spray already applied within 1 day.
The product is selective on most ornamentals. Some, mainly Dutch-bred, standing geraniums may develop transient leaf yellowing-whitening after treatment without loss of flower yield. Although the leaves will turn green again within a few weeks and flower yield will not be reduced, it is not recommended to repeat the treatment if this symptom is observed.
After the spray has dried on the leaves, further work on ornamental plants can be carried out without restriction
