Uses: in grapes against powdery mildew and grey mould, in tomatoes, peppers and chillies (closed growing systems) against weevils and greenhouse mealybugs, in cucumbers, courgettes and other edible squashes with skin (closed growing systems) and in watermelons, cantaloupe, pumpkin and other non-edible-skinned squash (closed production) against greenhouse mealybugs and ornamental plants (closed production) against stinging-sucking mouthbrood insects.

How does it work?
Orange oil extract has a cell membrane damaging effect and its mode of action is based on dehydration of the reproductive formulae of pests and fungi. It dehydrates the waxy exoskeleton of soft-bodied pests (such as mealybugs, spider mites, aphids), causing them to lose their body fluids and die. The spores and mycelia of pathogenic fungi (powdery mildew, grey mould) on the plant surface are also dehydrated, and the cell membrane is damaged, rendering them unable to continue their life processes and they die. At application, the surface of the pests (fungal mycelium, pest colonies) must be completely covered with a sufficient amount of spray to achieve the desired effect.

Why PREV-GOLD?
PREV-GOLD is a broad-spectrum insecticide, fungicide and miticide with a characteristic contact action, containing orange oil. As its mode of action is very different from most other insecticides, fungicides and miticides in use, it is also very well suited for use in resistance management measures and provides residue-free control. The product also contains surface tension reducing ingredients to help achieve the contact effect, but does not require the addition of other adhesion or potentiating agents.
It fits perfectly into an integrated control system, as it can be used all season from the first appearance of pests. Furthermore, its physical, drying action makes it different from conventional chemical pesticides and therefore virtually eliminates the risk of resistance. It has a broad spectrum of activity and research on the product has shown that it has no significant negative impact on bees and beneficial organisms and spares them due to its low persistence.
Storage: in a dry, cool, but frost-free place in a 'regular' pesticide store or in a storage container.
