Home use: 25-30 ml/10 l water.
Prescribed plant protection technology:
The product can be used only once per growing season in vineyards, once per growing season in potatoes if applied after stalking, or twice per growing season in the case of split treatments.
In vineyards over 4 years old (wine, table grapes), the preparation may be used to scorch side shoots and shoots of vines and to prevent growth. The treatment should be applied at a concentration of 0,2 % on side shoots and sprouts 10-15 cm long. The preparation may be applied using an authorised dose of an additive containing the active substance trisiloxane modified with white oil or polyether. During application, special care must be taken to prevent drift of the spray, and the product must only reach the target area to be sprayed, as it will severely damage all green parts of the plant. Spraying must be carried out only at low pressure, with a high droplet size, targeted application, in calm weather, to avoid damage to the crop.
In apples over four years old, use at an authorised dose of 0,8 l/ha of white oil or polyether modified trisiloxane at the development of stem and lateral shoots of 15-20 cm using an authorised dose of the active substance trisiloxane.
During application, special care must be taken to prevent drift of the spray, which must only reach the target area to be sprayed, as it will severely damage all green parts of the crop. Spraying must be carried out only at low pressure, with a high droplet size, targeted application, in calm weather, to avoid damage to the crop.
In potatoes, it may be applied as a split treatment for defoliation or as a single application after stem break.
In the case of split treatment, the first treatment should be applied at a dose of 0,8 l/ha with the addition of an authorised dose of an additive containing the active substance rapeseed oil or paraffin oil, 19-21 days before harvest. The second treatment with 0,8 l/ha using an authorised dose of an additive containing rapeseed oil or paraffin oil active substance should be applied 14 days before harvest, i.e. 5-7 days between the two treatments.
In the case of a single application, the treatment should be carried out 1-2 days after stem break and 14 days before harvest at a dose of 0,8 l/ha using an authorised dose of an additive containing the active substance rapeseed oil or paraffin oil. Stem crushing must be carried out in such a way that a part of the crop with a stem height of 20-30 cm remains to allow sufficient plant surface area for the product to exert its effect. It is contact active and therefore the fullest possible coverage should be ensured for good efficacy.
In winter wheat, winter barley, spring barley and spring wheat crops, the product should be applied in spring from the beginning of tillering of the crop until 1 node development at a rate of 0,25 l/ha. It is effective against seed-emerging biennial weeds at 2-4 true leaf stage, sticky knapweed (Galium aparine) being most sensitive to the product at 1-3 leaf stage. It may be used in combination with authorised doses of sulphonylurea preparations for use in winter wheat, winter barley, spring barley and spring wheat to broaden the weed control spectrum. For control of perennial biennial weeds, it should be used in combination with authorised doses of preparations containing 2,4-D, MCPP or MCPA. When used in tank combinations with authorised doses of preparations containing the active substances methsulfuron-methyl + thifensulfuron-methyl and the active substance fluroxypyr, Kabuki may be applied at a dose of 0,075-0,15 l/ha.
For the control of cereal seedling biennial weeds, use at 0,5 l/ha when they are growing vigorously up to 15-25 cm. In all cases, the preparation must be supplemented with an additive to increase its activity at the authorised dose! The treatment must be applied at least 3 days before mechanical cultivation of the stubble. When used in combination with a glyphosate active product, Kabuki may be applied at a dose of 0,25 l/ha.
The active substance pyraflufen-ethyl belongs to the group of active substances phenylpyrazoles within the herbicide group 'E' of HRAC.
