Introducing the radish:
A mixture of different coloured month-old radish varieties, giving the opportunity for longer harvesting. The tubers are crunchy, slightly spicy, and are excellent in salads and as a garnish for dishes.
The nutritional value of radishes:
A very tasty vegetable, rich in vitamins and nutrients, low in calories, it can be eaten by dieters. Rich in vitamins A, B and C, it also contains significant amounts of phosphorus and potassium.

Heat requirements:
Radish seeds are cold tolerant and germinate at temperatures as low as 2-3 degrees Celsius, germinating fastest at 15-20 degrees Celsius, and do not require much heat for tuber formation.
Soil requirements:
It prefers nutrient-rich, looser-textured, sandy soils.
Water requirements:
During tuber formation it requires a lot of moisture, if it does not get enough moisture it will easily swell in dry soil and become unpalatable to the taste.

Sow from March onwards in a permanent place.

30 cm x 5 cm row and sow at stake spacing.
