Balcony plants grow and flower vigorously, so they use up the nutrients in the soil in a short time, and without regular fertilisation their growth stops and they do not flower. Vitafloora Nutmeg and Succulent Nutrient Solution is a regular nutrient solution for plants, which contains all the nutrients and micro-nutrients necessary to prevent deficiencies in a form that the plant can absorb. Well-nourished geraniums and balcony plants develop vigorous shoots and bloom profusely throughout the season.

Use:

Common, English and runner geraniums, other balcony plants, annuals and biennials: burdock, amaranth, garden and hanging begonia, lobelia, ornamental calla lily, celosia, garden verbena, zinnia, impatiens, salvia, ashwort, stinkwort, lion's mouth, marigold, daisy, dandelion, gazania, petunias, helianthus, coneflower, devil's-eye, African goldenrod, dawn, wonder flower, veilflower, snowdrop, garden gossip, bidens, etc.

Dosage:

Start feeding two weeks after planting, first once a week and then twice a week after the first flowers appear.
Using the dosing cylinder of the half-litre and one-litre bottle cap: mix half a dosing cylinder of nutrient solution with 3 litres of irrigation water.
Decis bottle: 1 capful of nutrient solution to 1 litre of water.
As a foliar fertiliser: 5-8 ml of nutrient solution to 1 litre of water.

The amount of nutrient solution applied can be increased if the size of the plant or the number of flowers justifies it, but only in several weekly instalments. For optimum nutrient supply of runner beetle, apply 15 ml Vitaflo per day of nutrient solution for beetle and balcony plants to 10 litres of water per day.

Application advice:

Do not fertilize plants for 2 weeks after transplanting!

Never fertilize a sick plant, unless a nutrient deficiency is the cause of the disease!

In hot weather, it is advisable to water and fertilize in the evening to avoid cold water shock, to allow the plant to take up sufficient water and nutrients during the cooler nights and to reduce evaporation losses.

Plants that have been over-wintered should only be fertilised until the end of August to allow the canes to mature for winter. Non-wintered plants should be fertilised until the frosts to maintain continuous flowering.
