Home use: 5 ml/10 l water.
For integrated control of mites in an insecticidal action that spares beneficial insects
Active ingredient: 240,0 g/l bifenazate
The contact mode of action of Floramite® 240 SC is unique among miticides. It acts on the transmission of stimuli between nerves and muscles in the mite body, leading to nervous system hyperactivity. After about 3 hours of treatment, the mites become hyperactive and no longer feed. Therefore, their movement gradually slows down and they die after 3 to 4 days at the latest. In the case of the common weaver mite (Tetranychus urticae), Floramite is effective against all stages of development: oviposition, larvae, nymphs and imago.
Floramite is safe for all natural enemies tested and used for biological control today.
Floramite is completely safe on the crop. After the spray dries, the product leaves no visible residue on the plant.
As with all insecticides, resistance to Floramite can develop if the product is not used correctly. To avoid this, the following resistance management method is recommended:
The number of applications should not exceed one per year for a single application or two within 7 days for two applications.
Regular monitoring should be carried out and Floramite should be applied immediately if a mite infestation occurs. Do not wait for large populations to develop.
Floramite should only be applied at the recommended dose and in accordance with the recommendations on the label.
Floramite should be used in combination with predatory insects and parasites to reduce the number of chemical treatments.
It can be used for:
In sprouted vegetable and sprouted ornamental crops, applications should be timed before the mass emergence of mites, against larvae. Spraying should be carried out when the damage threshold (5 moving individuals per leaf) is reached. In case the biological efficacy of the treatment has not reached 95,0 % on the 5th day after spraying, the spraying should be repeated on the 7th day.
Occupational health waiting time: 0 days.
Food health withdrawal period:
1 day for sprouted peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers
not necessary in ornamental plants on shoots.
Marketing category: III.
Shelf life: 2 years
