ICL Proturf 12-5-20 lawn fertiliser

The ProTurf range is a unique, innovative combination of conventional granular fertiliser and controlled release coated granules.
Instantly absorbed potassium strengthens cell walls and regulates water balance in grass. Helps grass withstand stress in cold winter weather. Promotes the replenishment of the nutrient stores of the grass fibres with carbohydrates, which the plant can convert into energy during periods of stress, thus protecting it from extreme conditions. Recommended for both summer and autumn use. One 25kg bag is sufficient for 715 - 1250 m2 depending on the setting.

POLY-S technology

Thanks to the Poly-S coating technology, 25% of the total N content is permanent and lasts for 2 months.
In fertilizer bags coated with Poly-S technology, the nitrogen is surrounded by a sulphur-containing and biodegradable polymeric membrane layer.
As soon as soil moisture enters the outer membrane layer, nitrogen begins to be released. Depending on the thickness of the envelope, nitrogen can take several months to leach out.

Uniform nitrogen release

Nitrogen release remains uniform even when soil temperature or moisture content changes.
Nutrient release from Poly-S coated fertilizers closely follows the nutrient needs of the lawn with minimal nutrient loss.
Provides efficient nitrogen delivery because nutrient leaching is significantly reduced.
No growth peaks, so mowing frequency can be reduced. This also results in less clippings, so felting, which is harmful to turf, can be prevented.
Can be taken up immediately in cooler conditions and contains uncoated nirtrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Special ingredients include water-soluble calcium and magnesium, which promote rapid greening and healthy growth.
