Sweetcorn Royalty F1 50 grains
HUF 600 * (nettó: HUF 472) | |
What are the characteristics of Royalty sweetcorn?
A medium-sized, high yielding, disease resistant, Dutch hybrid. The ears are very thick and heavy.
Tip:
For fresh consumption, boil the ears for only 10 minutes! It differs from feed maize in that it has thinner leaves, a much higher sugar content in the kernels and a slower conversion to starch.
Sugar content:
Based on their sugar content, in addition to the traditional normal sweet type, a distinction is made between sugar-grown and super sweet varieties. The former are similar in texture to the normal sweet and are generally lighter in colour. Super sweet varieties have a more crunchy eye and the highest sugar content (9-12% sugar, compared to 3-6% for normal sweet varieties).
