Only one treatment with Envidor is allowed per season. The preparation has a long duration of action and therefore repeated control is not necessary.
Envidor should be applied at a rate that ensures uniform coverage in all crops (1000 l/ha).
Standstill period (apples, pears, wine grapes, table grapes): 14 days
The application of the product does not kill adult bees, but when applied to the hive it poses a risk to larvae. Therefore, do not use in flowering crops!
Manufacturer's recommendation: Envidor is a contact miticide. Although the initial effect is slow, mite reproduction stops almost immediately after treatment. After 8 to 10 days, a visible change in the mite population is visible, and after two weeks, a spectacular change in the mite population.
In apples, control of leaf and spider mites is based on forecasts. Treat in early spring when 50-60% of overwintering eggs have hatched. One spray per season is recommended because of the long duration of action.
In pears, the application should preferably be made in spring as it is mainly effective on eggs and young animals. If the first generation of leafroller is to be controlled, apply before flowering, if the second generation, apply within 1-3 weeks after petal fall.
In grapes, control of grapevine leafroll should start after bud break against the moving forms.
