Introducing Un Metro beans:
Un metro pole beans are a special variety that grow long (40-60 cm), weak, slender, green pods. The young, long, slender pods must be picked continuously or they will harden. It is heat-hungry, suitable for propagation and protected outdoor cultivation.It is also known as metre beans. Seeded from mid-April to August, it is a vigorous-growing, tropical pole bean.
Fruit:
A vegetable plant similar to a bean, its long pods contain cream-coloured, black navel-shaped seeds. The bean is long-growing, tall and develops a large green mass, with an excellent cover and a distinctive appearance. The fibre-free 50-60 cm long, thin pods of asparagus are very special!
Uses:
For fresh consumption, recommended for home freezing. Can be cooked, baked, steamed or preserved in vinegar. Ideal for Asian dishes.
