Luna Privilege is a new, highly effective fungicide. Its active ingredient is fluopyram, the only member of the pyridinyl ethyl benzamide group of active substances discovered by Bayer. Its spectrum of activity includes phytopathogenic fungi such as powdery mildew, grey mould, monilia, scab and other foliar and storage fungi diseases.
It belongs to the Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitors (SDHI) group of fungicides, but due to the specificity of the molecular structure, its "resistance sensitivity" is much more favourable than the other members of the group. Fluopyram opens up new perspectives not only in fungicide control but also in crop longevity.

Proposed technology:

In cherries and sour cherries, control moniliaceous blossom and shoot dieback preventively. The first treatment should be applied at the end of budding, at the beginning of flowering and repeated at flowering depending on the infection pressure. Against moniliaceous blight, it is recommended to apply before ripening. Control of flowering leaf spot should be preventive and based on a forecast.

In grapes, treatments should also be based on forecasts. Against grape powdery mildew, even lower doses provide good protection. Against grey mould, a higher dose will provide a high degree of protection and thus a longer duration of action against powdery mildew.

It can be used in apple orchards against storage diseases at maturity. A total of 2 sprays can be applied in one crop, with a spray cycle of 8-14 days depending on the infection pressure. Care should be taken to ensure even spray coverage during treatment, for which a water volume of 800-1000 l/ha is recommended.


Remember:

The formulation has excellent results in the protection of fruit crops against storage diseases. When treating for storage diseases, it is of utmost importance that the withdrawal period is observed!
