Forester EW game repellent 1 l

Wildlife repellent spray in liquid emulsion form. For use in forestry, nurseries, orchards and arable crops* to repel deer and elk causing serious damage.

USE AND DOSAGE
In forestry, broad-leaved and coniferous crops, the product is applied in its original form without dilution. Precise application in young plantations ensures uninterrupted growth while preserving the biological value of the tree. The product should be applied to the area to be protected in uniform drips on frost-free days in late autumn - early winter or during the spring - summer application period. The dose applied (10-20 litres/ha) will depend on the crop and the stage of development of the plant (e.g. budding canes or leafy shoots). 1 treatment is usually recommended for each of the two application periods.
In apple crops, the treatment should be applied in early spring (at bud break) at a dose of 20 l/ha, either undiluted or, for better coverage, applied at a 1:3 or 1:5 dilution in water before leaf emergence.
In vines, the product may be applied at a rate of 10-15 l/ha from the three-leaf shoot stage to the onset of flowering at a 1:3 to 1:5 dilution in water. If the developmental stage of the vine allows, the spray may be repeated 28-42 days after treatment if damage is observed again.
In arable crops (maize, rape, sunflower, soya), apply at a rate of 15 l/ha from 3 to 4 stages of lodging. The extension of the licence application is expected in the first quarter of 2009! Border treatments with the product (minimum width 20 m) can be an economical way to reduce the damage caused by large game chewing in large fields. The dose of 15 l/ha should be calculated per unit area.

Attention! Forester® EW should not be mixed with other crop protection products and should only be applied alone.

Practical advice Spray the product without dilution on the area to be protected (according to the phenological phase of the crops). The spray must be allowed to dry out to ensure a long duration of action and treatment is therefore recommended mainly in dry weather.

MECHANISM OF ACTION Forester® EW is a game repellent spray for the control of deer, roe deer and mouflon browsing in forestry and fruit crops. The animal fat active ingredient has been developed on the basis of observations in nature and can be used to protect various forest and fruit crops from big game chewing. The product has an unpleasant odour that acts as a deterrent to animals. After treatment of the area to be protected, the spray needs to dry out to ensure long-lasting efficacy, so apply in dry weather. In foggy or rainy weather, the treatment should not be carried out, as there is no chance of a dried spray layer protecting the plant.

The use of other plant protection products is not recommended for one week prior to treatment and for one week after emergence due to possible reduced efficacy. On hot days, apply only in the morning and evening hours. Do not apply below freezing temperatures.

Wash the sprayer thoroughly after use.
