Viticulture and winemaking are part of our culture, our history and our future, our national treasure. It teaches us to respect nature, living things and inanimate creations, helps us to recover lost values, teaches us moderation and patience.
The book presents the wine cellars and press houses of a particular wine region, and shows how to transform or renovate an existing cellar into a wine-making and wine storage space.
You can learn about the different techniques used to make different types of wine (white, rosé, red) and finally, you can learn about the different wine regions of Hungary and the grape varieties that are typical of them. This last chapter is almost an invitation to visit these special landscapes and, of course, to admire the examples of vernacular architecture presented at the beginning of the book.
The book is an excellent guide for anyone who wants to get a taste of the art of winemaking.
