THE NEW DG NEOTEC FORMULATION:

A new formulation of DG NeoTec. To achieve the perfect chemical coverage that is the basis of the contact mode of action, not only the active ingredient is needed, but also the special Dow AgroSciences formulation. The special particle size and the unique Dow AgroSciences surfactants ensure that Dithane has excellent rain resistance, the ability to redistribute with minimal moisture (dew or slow rain), the ability to continuously rebuild the "zone of inhibition" and ultimately the long-lasting contact effect of the agent.

PROPOSED CROP PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY:

Dithane organic contact fungicide is recommended for preventive use in horticultural crops on a forecast basis, integrated into a spray schedule. Control should be initiated as soon as symptoms of infestation are observed and repeated as necessary every 7 to 8 days during periods of epidemic risk. The amount of water required for application should be chosen according to the type of plantation, the size of the foliage and the type of sprayer.

In sunflowers, Dithane 2 kg/ha + carbendazim 2 l/ha should be applied at the 6-8 leaf stage for the control of grey and white mold late blight and stem disease, diaporthose and alternaria stem disease. In case of high infection pressure, the spraying should be repeated at bud break or at lemon ripening.

In Kalászos, control should be carried out at the end of flowering, at flowering, in combination with powdery mildew control.

PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

- For control of powdery mildew in different crops, combine with appropriate doses of Karathane Star, Systhane duplo and Rally Q.

- The efficacy of copper preparations for bacterial diseases is improved by combining copper with a full dose of Dithane DG NeoTec. The improved efficacy is explained by the specific redistributive capacity of the new DG NeoTec formulation and the improved coverage and rain resistance achieved with this formulation.
