Basatop Espace signalling:

Basatop Espace is a semi-coated controlled-release composite fertilizer for the maintenance of golf fairways, sports fields and other valuable turf surfaces.

Nutrient uptake:

Nutrients are revealed in two stages:

1) Initiation immediately after application, due to moisture. Initiation: Direct application at the beginning of the season.

2) In the second stage, nutrients located within the envelope are dissolved by the flow of moisture into the envelope, at a rate dependent on moisture and temperature.

Duration of effect:

The formulation has a duration of action of 2-3 months in normal and temperate climates. Nutrient release is temperature dependent, so warm (cold) weather will reduce (prolong) the duration of action. Drought also delays nutrient uptake. Basatop Espace offers excellent value for money and has a wide range of uses in landscaping and lawn care.

Delivery:

Thanks to its uniform particle size and resistant coating, Basatop Espace is easy to apply with fertilizer sprayers and by hand. Each fertilizer granule has the same macro- and micro-nutrient content, which ensures an even nutrient distribution. When applied at the recommended rates, there is no risk of scorching on dry surfaces.After application, the area should be watered for immediate effect.

Mechanism of action:

The nitrogen content of the fertilizer with a prolonged action mechanism provides uniform, long-lasting plant nutrition. This prevents sudden, rapid growth and elongation of the grass and reduces the risk of nutrient leaching and felt formation.
The potassium content helps the lawn to withstand stress in hot summer and cold winter weather. It promotes the replenishment of grass nutrient stores with carbohydrates, which the plant can convert into energy during periods of stress, thus protecting it from extreme conditions.
