Active ingredient: 480 g/l spinozad.
Homemade dose: 2 ml/10 litres of water.
Controls the green house moth (powdery mildew).
RECOMMENDED PLANT PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY:
In grapes, control of grapevine moths should be started after sex pheromone trapping following swarming observation at the beginning of the larval period and repeated 1-2 times depending on the intensity of the swarming.
In brassica, the timing of the control of the larvae of white moths (cabbage moth, turnip moth) and owl moths (cabbage moth, lettuce moth) is of crucial importance. The first spraying should be carried out against caterpillars at developmental stages L1-L2. It is recommended to repeat the treatment 1-2 times every 7-14 days. SpinTor should be in contact with the caterpillars, and a well fumigant formulation such as Reldan 40 EC at 1,5 l/ha should be used to control larvae that have burrowed into the cabbage heads.
In sown peppers and ornamentals, control of western flower thrips by blue or yellow sticky leaf observation should be initiated at the onset of establishment or emergence and repeated 2-3 times at 5-7 day intervals.
The first spraying in bell peppers and tomatoes against cotton aphids should be timed to control young caterpillars (L1-L2 developmental stages). The frequency of treatments should be selected according to the average daily temperature of the growing equipment. It is recommended to apply every 7 days below 25°C and every 5 days above 25°C.
PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
In the case of inoculated crops, it is recommended to use a different group of active substances after the 3rd application to avoid the development of resistance. The preparation may be used up to 3 times per crop cycle. As the preparation inhibits the larval feeding of quail wasps by its toxic effect, the use of the parasitoid min. 1 week after treatment. The bumblebee hives should be closed 1,5-2 hours before treatment and kept closed until the spray drops have dried.
The amount of spray to be applied should be chosen according to the development, canopy area and cultivation method of the crop to be treated and the type of crop protection machinery used, and should aim at achieving perfect spray coverage. In cabbage and peppers, the use of an adhesion promoter is recommended for application. In ornamentals, a phytotoxicity test should be carried out prior to treatment.
A fogging agent should not be used for the application of the preparation.
ORGANIC FARMING :
The preparation is an authorised organic insecticide.
