Micronutrient nutrient supplementation on the basis of a recipe prepared by a nutrient supply engineer
Copper sulphate is a preparation for alleviating the symptoms of copper deficiency in plants and preventing the onset of deficiency symptoms.
Copper sulphate is intended for the alleviation of copper deficiency symptoms in plants and the prevention of deficiency symptoms. It enhances the plant's self-defence mechanism against external agents by stimulating biochemical processes. Promotes the formation of polyphenols and phytoalexins, which are the primary substances of the plant defence mechanism.
Use of copper sulphate:
In apple crops:
spring foliar sprays should be applied at high rates at the latest at the end of green bud stage. In particular, copper-sensitive apple varieties (Jonathan, Golden) should not be sprayed after waxing of the fruit, but only after the autumn harvest. Early spring and autumn treatments are used to improve the condition of the apple crop.
In peaches:
treatments can be carried out up to bud break, taking into account copper sensitivity.
In less sensitive stone fruit:
in apricots until red bud stage, in plums, cherries and sour cherries until flowering and after harvest in autumn. Treatments in autumn foliage fall help to ensure healthy overwintering of the plants.
In grapes:
treatments should be started as a preventive measure and repeated depending on the condition of the vine, in order to maintain the plant in good condition.
In vegetables:
the treatment can be repeated 1-2 times taking into account the general condition of the plants.
In potatoes:
the treatment should be repeated every 7-10 days maximum, depending on the condition of the plants, as a preventive measure to maintain a healthy crop in good condition.
When using the product, at least 10 days should elapse between the last foliar treatment and harvest, and 20 days for stone fruit and grapes.
Doses for copper sulphate use:
Apple crops:
10 kg/ha applied with 1000 l/ha of water.
Stone fruit:
10 kg/ha. Volume of water required for application: 1000 l/ha
Grapes:
10-15 kg/ha. 1000 l/ha water.
Vegetables:
2.5-5 kg/ha. Application water 500 l/ha
Potatoes:
0,5-2%. Water required: 300-500 l/ha.
The preparation can be used in all crops in the form of Bordeaux juice. Method of preparation of the Bordeaux juice: lime diluted with water (lime milk) is added to the prepared copper sulphate solution with constant stirring. For 1 kg of copper sulphate, 0,5-0,6 kg of unrendered lime or 1,5-1,8 kg of bacon lime is required.
Use of copper sulphate in home gardens:
0,5-1,5 % concentration.
It may be used in the quantities specified in the technical advice.
