Home use: 10 g/10 l water.
Excellent egg, larva and nymphal killing action. It is effective against woodlice species. Duration of action 60-70 days. Spares predatory mites, insects, bees.
Prescribed crop protection technology:
In apple crops (apples, pears, quince, naspolya) and in wine and table grapes, control should be based on forecasting, winter egg counts, mainly against overwintering eggs of spider mites, as close as possible to the time of egg-laying. When spraying in vegetation, it is advisable to apply the product together with a combination partner that kills moving figures. The amount of spray applied should be chosen according to the type of cultivation, canopy density and type of machinery used (500-1700 l/ha). Time of treatment in apple orchards (according to phenological stage) flower bud swelling - beginning of ripening (BBCH 51 - BBCH 81). Time of treatment in wine and table grapes (according to phenological stage): five-leaf stage - pea-sized berries (BBCH 15 - BBCH 75)
In open field small cucumbers, control should be carried out during mass oviposition of spider mites. A maximum of two treatments per year is recommended. At the second treatment, spraying only the newly developing parts of the crop may be sufficient, as determined by a preliminary mite survey. Time of treatment (according to phenological stage): four-leaf stage - full maturity (BBCH 14 - BBCH 89).
In sprouted snake cucumbers, pumpkins, squash, watermelons and cantaloupes, control should be carried out once per growing cycle during the period of mass oviposition of spider mites. Treatment period (according to phenological stage): four-leaf stage - full maturity (BBCH 14 - BBCH 89).
In squeezed peppers, tomatoes and eggplants, control is recommended once per production cycle during the period of mass oviposition of spider mites. Treatment time (according to phenological stage): four-leaf stage - full maturity (BBCH 14 - BBCH 89).
In soft fruit crops (raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, currant, currant, josta, black elder, black elder, turf rose), spraying should be carried out after harvest. Time of treatment (according to phenological status): after harvest (BBCH 90).
In strawberries, the product may be applied once during a growing season. Control should be applied when mass oviposition of spider mites occurs, as determined by preliminary plant inspection. In case of heavy infestation, the highest dose should be used. Treatment time (according to phenological status): four-leaf (BBCH 14) or post-harvest (BBCH 90).
In Hops, control should be carried out during mass egg laying by spider mites. Time of treatment (according to phenological status): leaf bud swelling - inflorescence developed (BBCH 01 - BBCH 59).
In ornamental plants, control should be carried out at the beginning of the spider mite emergence. Time of treatment (according to phenological status): no restrictions.
In ornamental trees and shrubs and in ornamental trees and shrubs in public areas, control of red fruit tree sawfly should be applied prior to larval emergence when mortality of winter eggs is low and 30 % of twigs and branches are infested with viable eggs. In the case of heavy spring damage, it is advisable to apply in combination with an authorised miticide against the movable forms. Treatment against common weevil and other weevil species should be carried out during the period of mass egg laying, which should be determined by preliminary plant inspection.
The use of the product in a rotational manner is recommended to avoid the development of resistance.
The preparation should be applied in public areas only under the supervision of a person with advanced plant protection training and a valid authorisation.
When used in public places, the treatment should be communicated to the public concerned in the usual local way and the public health requirements associated with the treatment should be stressed.
It is prohibited to stay in freshly treated sprayed areas.
The quantity of spray applied should be chosen according to the development, canopy cover and cultivation of the crop to be treated and the type of machinery used.
Hexitiazox is an active substance belonging to the IRAC 10A group of insect growth (development) inhibitors. It is a contact (non-absorbable) stomach poison with a killing effect on mite eggs, larvae and nymphs but no effect on adult mature mites.
