Beneficial properties of Flumite 200
Unique mechanism of action; flufenzin inhibits the hatching of deposited mite eggs. The active ingredient is taken up by feeding female mites, which sterilises the mite eggs that form in females.
Flufenzin kills young, mobile larvae and nymphs.
The translaminar active ingredient is also highly effective in killing larvae feeding on the phloem of leaves.
Long duration of action, 40-60 days.
Broad spectrum of activity; Flumite 200 is effective against leafminer, codling moth and weevil species.
Flumite 200 is also highly effective against mixed mite populations of different species and developmental forms.
Flexible application, sprays are not limited to a short period. Flumite 200 can be used for spring, summer and autumn treatments.
Strong selectivity; Flumite kills only plant damaging mites, predatory mites and beneficial insects are spared.
Green certification; can be used in integrated pest management technologies.
Excellent efficacy even at low doses; very favourable cost/effectiveness ratio.
Marketing category: III - free circulation classification.
Flumite 200 is a successful, highly effective, selectively flexible, safe to use and economical miticide.
Use:
-Apple fruit (apples, pears): red fruit tree weevil (Panonychus ulmi), two-spotted weevil, (Tetranychus urticae)Apple fruit leafminer (Aculus schlechtendali)
At a dose of 0,4-0,5 l/ha with 500-1000 l/ha of spray. In early spring for red fruit tree weevil egg hatch, when 30% of the eggs on twigs and branches are infested, and until the end of May for common weevil when the number of mobile mites reaches the threshold of danger of 3-5 mites per leaf.
-On stone fruit (peaches, nectarines, plums): Stone fruit aphid (Aculus fockeui), Red fruit tree weevil (Panonychus ulmi), Two-spotted weevil (Tetranychus urticae) At the latest until the end of May, against stone fruit aphid at a dose of 0,4-0,5 l/ha with 800-1000 l/ha spray, once (30 moving mites/leaf) when a threshold of danger is reached. For common and red fruit tree weevil, once a year, at a threshold of 3 to 5 moving individuals/leaf.
-Grapes: Grapevine leafminer (Calepitrimerus vitis), Grapevine budworm (Eriophyes vitis), Two-spotted weevil (Tetranychus urticae), at a dose of 0,4-0,5 l/ha, using 800-1000 l/ha spray, in spring when grapes are predicted to be 2-4 leafed, and for budworm at the time of heavy bud infestation (100-200 adults/head) in the pre-flowering period.
-Hops, red and blackcurrants, raspberries: Two-spotted weevil (Tetranychus urticae) at a dose of 0.4-0.5 l/ha, sprayed at 500-600 l/ha with 3-5 moving individuals/leaf at a threshold of danger once before flowering.
-Blackberry: Blackberry canker (Acalitus essigii) Control of blackberry canker sucking on green buds by spring plant survey at a dose of 0,5 l/ha at 500-600 l/ha.
-Strawberries: Strawberry canker (Tarsonemus fragariae) Pre- and post-flowering and post-harvest sprays at 0,5 l/ha at a rate of 500-1000 l/ha.
-Black elderberries: Two-spotted weevil (Tetranychus urticae), Leaf mites Control of common weevil and leaf mites at a dose of 0.4-0.5 l/ha until flowering, using 500-800 l/ha spray at a rate of 3-5 moving individuals per leaf at the threshold of danger (weevil) or 30-40 individuals per leaf at the threshold of danger (leaf mite). In bodzas, the addition of an adherence enhancing wetting agent to the spray is recommended. The product may be used once a year.
-Weed: Eriophyes tristriatus, Eriophyes erineus, After the winter dormancy period, control adult movable forms overwintering in buds at a dose of 0,5 l/ha with 800 l/ha of spray.
-Deciduous nursery, nursery stock, deciduous and evergreen ornamental trees in public areas: caterpillar, leaf and leaf blade caterpillars. Application of the product on lime, horse chestnut, yew and common spruce does not cause phytotoxic symptoms. Sensitivity testing on other ornamental trees and shrubs is recommended before treatment.
-Hybrid maize: Two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) In July, by stand treatment against adults and larvae of the common spider mite at a dose of 0,3 l/ha with 600 l/ha spray.
-Soy and seed production: Two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) Late to late flowering against common spider mite adults and larvae at a spray rate of 0,25-0,3 l/ha at 300 l/ha based on forecast and crop trial.
Miscibility of the spray
Flumite 200 can be mixed with all other insecticides and fungicides, except alkaline fungicides, authorised for use in the crop.
In blackberries, strawberries, black elderberries, it is recommended to add a tackifier wetting agent to the spray. The product may be used up to once a year in orchards, berries, vines, hybrid maize and soya.
