What can tallow be used for?

Use: to seal the pruning, cutting and damage surfaces of fruit trees, ornamental trees, vines, fruit trees and ornamental shrubs to prevent damage by pathogens and chewing pests.

Use without dilution:

The paste is applied without dilution to the wound (insect bite, pruning area, branch break, etc.) on the woody part of the plant, cleaned beforehand with a sharp knife (so-called 'kacor'), by brushing in such a way that the wound is completely and evenly covered by the paste in a band of about 0,51 cm from the edge of the wound, covering the undamaged part. The VIGMENT provides a flexible, breathable coating at the treatment site, providing long-lasting protection and preventing subsequent infection of the wound. This requires prior cleaning of the previously infected wound back to the living, healthy part. One litre of preparation is sufficient for a single treatment of 4-8 m2 of surface area. Treatment can be carried out in dry weather above 0 degrees Celsius.

Use as an ointment paste:

After joining the two parts of the plant, brush the surface with FAGEL. After the paste has dried, it fixes and protects the graft as a flexible, rubbery ring. The effectiveness - hardening - can reach 90%, which is a very good result for grafting waxes!

It can also be used for the treatment and prevention of feral bites:

Coat the trunks of endangered trees with WOODEN, this does not damage the tree when dry as a breathable coating, but wild animals / deer, boars, etc./ do not like it, so they cannot damage the tree by chewing off the bark, in many cases by tearing off the wood body. It can also be used successfully to replace and treat bark or trunk that has already been chewed. It can be used on its own as a wood paste or mixed with fine, sieved sawdust. It can also be used to coat large, deep cavities in wood.
It bonds well with damaged live wood, significantly extending its life.
