Microgranular high sulphur fungicide
Home use 15-75 g/10 l water, depending on the degree of infestation.
High production quality contact product against powdery mildew with miticidal side effects. When mixed with water to make spray juice, the pH remains neutral.
Product also approved for organic farming by Biokontrol Hungária Nonprofit Kft.
Mechanism of action
H2S is formed in the fungal spore after uptake of elemental sulphur. The toxic effect is partly explained by the fact that elemental sulphur is converted to H2S by reacting with the enzyme-SH groups, and by the action of the sulphhydryl groups, which exert their fungicidal or fungistatic action. The H2S formed is also toxic: it forms a compound with metal-containing enzymes, in particular the iron ions of cytochromes. This reaction causes further inhibition of respiration.
Technological recommendations
Malaise: 5,0 kg/ha First treatment at the onset of powdery mildew symptoms at the beginning of emergence, second treatment at the end of ear emergence, beginning of flowering, Recommended water volume 300-500 l/ha.
Sugar beet: 5,0-6,0 kg/ha
Vegetables: 3,0-5,0 kg/ha Treatments should be started after the onset of early powdery mildew symptoms and repeated if necessary with spray cycles of 7-14 days. Recommended water volume 600-1000 l/ha.
Apple crops: 3,0-7,0 kg/ha Apply at 0,75 % before flowering and 0,3-0,5 % after flowering. Spraying should be started at mouse-ear stage and repeated every 5-10 days. The recommended water volume is 500-1000 l/ha.
Grapes: 2,0-7,0 kg/ha should be treated at 0,5 % before flowering and 0,3-0,5 % after flowering. Control should start at 20 cm shoot length and be repeated every 10-14 days depending on the susceptibility of the vine variety and the infection pressure. The recommended water volume is 400-1000 l/ha.
Stone fruit: 3,0-7,5 kg/ha Apply at 0,75 % before flowering and 0,3-0,5 % after flowering to control leafhopper infestation. Recommended water volume 500-1000 l/ha.
In berries, 3,0-7,0 kg/ha Pre-flowering, post-bud break, 1-2 applications to block primary symptoms of powdery mildew. Recommended water volume 600-1000 l/ha.
Oak: 1,5-3,0 kg/ha Apply the higher dose after bud break and repeat at the lower dose as necessary during the growing season.
Ornamentals: 0,15-0,5 % Control of powdery mildew after bud break before flowering at 0,3-0,5 % concentrate. Apply after flowering at a concentration of 0,15-0,2 %.
IMPORTANT! Above 25 °C the risk of scorching of sensitive crops and varieties increases, so do not spray in hot weather!
Spray preparation. Then add the missing amount of water. Wash the sprayer after the work is finished!
Contact
Against powdery mildew in apple crops: Cosavet® DF 2,0-7,5 kg/ha + Domark® 10 EC 0,3-0,4 l/ha
In contact block against powdery mildew and scab: Cosavet® DF 3,0-7,5 kg/ha + Champion® WG 2,0-3,0 kg
Cosavet® DF does not affect the pH of the spray solution, which remains neutral, and therefore mixes well with insecticides and foliar fertilizers. A mixing test should be carried out before spraying.
Designer® adjuvant is recommended to increase the coverage and rain resistance of the spray
